Careers & Employment event feedback proves great success!

Towards the end of 2017, the team at Your Marketing Needs were busy managing the logistics for a Careers & Employment event in partnership with Central Bedfordshire Council.

The Careers & Employment event proved a spectacular success with hundreds of visitors passing through the doors and exceptional feedback from exhibitors, schools and visitors throughout the day.

We’re thrilled to share statistics that show 96% of exhibitors said that the event was well organized and that the event was useful, whilst 83% of the students that visited said that they benefited from the event.

Nearly 500 school age young adults from 15 schools/academies attended throughout the day between 9am-3pm. All attendees experienced at least 1 inspiring information session from an inspirational business person (each of whom were briefed to deliver an informative non-sector specific inspirational talk about their journey and life lessons.)

In the afternoon the sessions were opened to the public and publicised to job seekers, school age children and parents to attend. With nearly 150 attendees in the afternoon session, this presented further opportunities to engage with businesses and real job opportunities. 94% of visitors found the event useful and 23 people took up a job offer at the event itself!

Exhibitor Center Parcs, said: “It was useful informing youngsters about career options and speaking to the public about vacancies. Would attend in future particularly for employment opportunities.”
