Last week, Katey attended the introduction to the Freedom Programme which is run by the Bedford Womens Centre and others. The Freedom programme is run over the course of 11 weeks for 2 hours per week, for women who may have experienced Domestic Abuse or would like to learn more information about healthy relationships.
As we do a lot of content development for our customers, Katey decided to go on this course to gain a better understanding in how to support vulnerable women and families with domestic issues for our client, the Foundations Project.
“The course was really interesting, and it was particularly great to meet and network with local probation officers, social workers and support workers that are already working alongside these vulnerable families. Plus, hear from the experts that deliver the programme, Bedfords Women’s Centre.”
